Selena, our ESC volunteer

Hello!

My name is Selena and I am the new Spanish volunteer in Tipu. I have just arrived a short time ago and my first impressions are only positive! I am delighted with the school, it is beautiful, there are lots of animals and the snowy nature is amazing. Without a doubt I am very happy to have come in February to enjoy part of the winter as well. I have not yet met the other volunteers with whom I will be living, but my tutor (Dagmar) is a lovely woman who has given me all possible facilities for my good adaptation in Tipu.

The activities I am doing are really fun, right now we are preparing some workshops and activities about climate change for different groups of children and teenagers who will come to visit tipu next week, also in the mornings I feed the animals of the school (here there are goats, rabbits, chickens, etc) and tomorrow we will go hiking in the snow!

All in all I am very happy with the beginning of my volunteering and I am looking forward to the rest of it!
