Situated in the village of Tipu at the river Halliste surrounded by meadows, forest and bog the Tipu Nature School is a place of meeting and environmental education.
The activities address a wide target group: local population, pupils, students from Estonia and abroad, teachers and tourists interested in nature.
In the Nature School seminars and advanced trainings on nature and nature education, sustainable house keeping and technologies, handicraft and sustainable building take place. Nature evenings address the local population as well as other visitors.
In Tipu pupils take part in educational programs and excursions. In cooperation with universities students write their final theses, environmental education programs and excursions take place. The Tipu Nature School involves partners from Estonia and abroad.
